'The Walking Dead: Dead City' Season 2: Meet the Cast

In the world of The Walking Dead, the zombies had the power. In The Walking Dead: Dead City, the world is powered by zombies.
Season 2 of the OG TWD spin-off premieres Sunday, May 4 at 9pm ET on AMC, but you can get a bite of the first episode in the clip above. Delivering on the season 1 promise of a power grid fueled by the methane emitted from zombie corpses, the lights of Radio City Music Hall flicker back to life. Perhaps they can book the zombie orchestra we saw in season 1 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
Apart from its innovations in literal green energy, The Walking Dead: Dead City features the return of TWD favorites Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan). Following the events of season 1, the at-odds couple are reunited with their loved ones this season, with Maggie reconnecting with her teenage son Hershel (Logan Kim) and Negan rediscovering his long-lost love, the barbed bat he calls Lucile.
According to an official description from AMC, the unlikely duo “find themselves trapped on opposite sides” of the now-isolated island of Manhattan as the season opens. “As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.”
In addition to Maggie and Negan, other returning characters include Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles), marshal for the New Babylon Federation; “The Croat” (Željko Ivanek), the deranged and sadistic leader of the Burazi; “The Dama” (Lisa Emery), an ally to The Croat; and Ginny (Mahina Napoleon), the selectively mute child that Negan formed a bond with, despite having killed her father.
