One of the biggest awards shows of the year arrives this week, as the 77th Emmy Awards takes place Sunday, Sept. 14 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT live on CBS. When Are the Emmy Awards Taking Place?

The Emmy Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, Sept. 14 beginning at 5pm local time in Los Angeles, 8pm Eastern. The show will be held at the Peacock Theater in downtown L.A. Prior to the ceremony, there will be a one-hour special “ET: Live on the Emmys Red Carpet” featuring interviews from the red carpet. Hosted by "Entertainment Tonight’s" Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, the show begins at 7pm ET/ 4pm PT.
