Spartacus: House of Ashur — The Blood-Soaked Epic Returns

After more than a decade, the world of Spartacus is back — and darker, bloodier, and more cunning than ever. Spartacus: House of Ashur takes us on a wild “what if” ride that rewrites history: what if Ashur (yes, that Ashur) hadn’t died on Mount Vesuvius?

Spartacus - House of Ashur

In this alternate timeline, his betrayal of the rebellion pays off — he kills Spartacus (in this version) and is rewarded with ownership of the legendary gladiator school, the Ludus once run by Batiatus. Ashur rises from ex-gladiator to Dominus, but power doesn’t come easy — especially when you’re a former slave, navigating a Roman society that doesn’t fully accept you. With brutal arena fights, tangled political intrigue, and a hunger for respect, this new saga promises to carry forward everything fans loved about the original Spartacus — plus new twists that change the game entirely.

Meet the Cast

Here are the key players powering this epic revival:

● Ashur (Nick E. Tarabay): The survivor who should never have made it this far. In this twisted fate, he kills Spartacus, takes control of the Ludus, and claws his way into Roman high society as a former slave everyone loves to hate.

● Lucretia (Lucy Lawless): The ghost from Ashur’s past who refuses to stay buried. In a surreal, otherworldly encounter, she grants him a second chance at life that feels more like a curse than a blessing.

● Korris, Doctore (Graham McTavish): The battle-scarred master of the arena. As Ashur’s enforcer, he trains the gladiators with brutal precision while quietly running his own game behind the scenes.

● Achillia (Tenika Davis): One of the Ludus’ first female gladiators — and she fights like she has something to prove every time she steps into the sand. Her rise threatens egos, traditions, and the pecking order in Ashur’s house.

● Tarchon (Jordi Webber): The resident bad boy of the arena. Fierce, reckless, and dangerously popular with the crowd, he’s exactly the kind of gladiator Ashur needs — and the kind who could topple him.

● Hilara (Jamaica Vaughan): Once a house slave, now part of Ashur’s inner circle. Her loyalty, ambition, and complicated feelings for the people around her make her a wild card in this new order.

● Messia (Ivana Baquero): A servant bound to Ashur’s household who sees more than she lets on. Caught between survival and her own desires, she becomes a quiet but pivotal force in his rise.

● Cornelia Cinna (Jaime Slater): A patrician with power and connections in Rome. When she steps into Ashur’s world, the backroom deals and political schemes become just as deadly as any arena fight.

● Cossutia (Claudia Black): A calculating presence with her own agenda. She plays the long game in Ashur’s house, testing how far influence and whispered threats can go.

● Viridia (India Shaw-Smith): A gladiator fighting for more than just glory. Her loyalty will be tested as Ashur’s rule pulls the Ludus deeper into blood and politics.

● Caesar (Jackson Gallagher): A rising political operator whose star is on the ascent. His alliance with Ashur could reshape Rome’s power map — or end in a spectacular betrayal.

● Satyrus (Leigh Gill): A seasoned fighter with scars, secrets, and a following of his own. His past makes him dangerous, but his choices inside the Ludus may be even more so.
