NFL Football has changed a lot since 1970, but Monday Night Football has remained a staple for fans of the NFL (and all their rowdy friends). In 2025, however, Monday Night Football will be bigger and better than ever—literally.

In addition to four weeks of double-headers on ESPN (channel 140 on DISH) and ABC (check your guide for channel number and availability), Monday Night Football has the ability to flex games into their schedule from Weeks 14 to 18. Although this creates new challenges for the players and teams who get flexed into a Monday night game, it’s perfect for the fans watching at home who will no longer have to sit through late-season games between underperforming teams with nothing to play for.

How to Watch The Manningcast

Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli – aka the Manningcast – will also be back for its fifth season in 2025. Since premiering in the 2021 season, the Manningcast—which features live interviews from the world of sports and pop culture, along with the Manning brothers’ sharp, funny commentary on the game—has been a hit in the ratings and creatively (the show has claimed the Sports Emmy Award for “Outstanding Live Sports Series” two years in a row). The Manningcast will air on ESPN2 during 11 of the MNF games this season, plus ESPN’s Wild Card playoff game. Check out the Manningcast games in the schedule below.

As for the broadcast, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be back for their fourth season on Monday Night Football. Longtime SportsCenter anchor Scott Van Pelt will host Monday Night Countdown, MNF’s pre-game show, with former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce expected to return to the pregame crew this season.
