How to Watch NBA Basketball with DISH
The 2025 NBA season will see a record 247 nationally televised games, but watching all of them will be quite different. Here’s a breakdown of where and when you can catch nationally televised NBA games throughout the 2025 season.
If you’re an NBA fanatic and want to watch all of the action, you can also subscribe to NBA League Pass with DISH. To get the party started, NBA League Pass will be in free preview for all DISH subscribers from Oct. 21 to Oct. 27. Now here’s a closer look at the 2025 NBA season.
How to Watch the NBA In-Season Tournament, All-Star Weekend, and More
With the change in the NBA broadcast rights, some of the biggest events of the regular season are also on the move. While ESPN / ABC will still have the Christmas Day games – which includes Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs taking on the defending champion Thunder, as well as Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets facing off against the Lakers – the NBA Cup In-Season Tournament will be exclusive to Prime Video. The third annual round-robin tournament gets underway on Halloween and concludes with the Championship Game from Las Vegas on Dec. 16.
NBA All-Star Weekend will air on NBC and Peacock and takes place Feb. 13-15 from the Intuit Dome, home of the Clippers. The regular season finishes on April 12, followed by the Play-In Tournament from April 14-17. The Playoffs get underway on April 18, and the NBA Finals will once again air on ABC beginning in early June.
