Pacman is back.

How to Watch Pacquiao vs. Barrios live with DISH
Pacquiao vs. Barrios takes place Saturday, July 19 at 8pm ET, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. You can order the PPV live with DISH for $79.99 in one of three ways: By remote on channels 454-530, online or by phone at 1-877-DISH PPV (855-8693).
Pacquiao Chasing History Again
As the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing, Pacquiao’s legacy as one of the greatest fighters of all-time was secured years ago. But at age 46, there’s one more accomplishment for him to strive for: Becoming the oldest man to win a welterweight title.
Considering Pacquiao would be breaking his own record that he set at age 40, this may seem like a trivial achievement for a boxer who is already in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Just as likely, Pacquiao is looking to avenge his 2021 loss to Yordenis Ugás by defeating a talented, much-younger fighter and claiming a 13th world championship belt.
Can Barrios Break Out?
Although his career can’t help but pale in comparison to one of the most celebrated boxers ever, Mario “El Azteca” Barrios is nonetheless carving out an impressive resume for himself. After beginning his career with a perfect 26-0 record, Barrios lost back-to-back fights against Gervonta Davis and Keith Thurman, surrendering his WBA super lightweight title belt to the former. But Barrios has bounced back, claiming the vacant WBC Continental Americas welterweight belt in 2023 and picking up the WBC interim welterweight title in his subsequent fight against Udás. Barrios retained his belts with two more wins and a draw in his most recent fight against Abel Ramos in the undercard of the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight in November 2024. Despite their 16 year age difference, a win over one of the most decorated boxers of all-time would solidify Barrios’ status as one of the best welterweight fighters of his era.
Who is on the Undercard for Pacquiao-Barrios?
Boxing experts agree that the undercard of the Pacquiao-Barrios fight is almost as compelling as the main event. First, there will be a championship fight for the junior middleweight championship featuring a rematch between champ Sebastian Fundora (22-1-1) and former WBO champion Tim Tszyu (25-2-0). This will be their second fight, as Fundora handed Tszyu the first loss of his career when they met for the first time in March 2024.
Mexican star Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz (27-3-1) was scheduled to face off with his countryman Angel Fierro (23-3-2) in a rematch of a February fight that many observers have called one of the best fights of the year. However, just one day before the fight, Fierro was forced to pull out of the fight due to unexpected health issues. Instead, Salcido Gamez (20-2), who had been scheduled to fight Brian Gallegos in the undercard, has been confirmed as a replacement, with a shot at the interim WBC super lightweight title on the line.
Rounding out the undercard, former two-division world champion Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa (25-2-1) will face top contender Joet Gonzalez (27-4-0) in a featherweight bout to kick off the pay-per-view.
What are the Odds for Pacquaio-Barrios?
