Over the last year, DISH started to change the way we interact with our television. Who needs the numeric buttons on a traditional remote, when you’ve got voice control? We unveiled our voice remote several months ago, and today, we’re announcing that we’ll soon take our voice control capabilities to new heights with the Google Assistant.
Starting in the first half of this year, you’ll be able to use the Google Assistant on Google Home, Android phones and iPhones – to control your DISH TV programming. Not only does this mean you’ll have more ways to watch Hands-Free TVTM, but you’ll also be able to control your television experience in multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
Ask the Google Assistant to control your smart home devices, ask about the weather or play, pause, fast-forward, rewind and search TV content based on channel, title, actor and genre.
