Heath Shuler Talks College Football on The Paul Finebaum Show

If you have seen any of DISH’s latest college football ads, you’ll know that Heath Shuler loves football, the Vols, and his glory days. The former Tennessee quarterback sat down with the “voice of the SEC,” Paul Finebaum last week to talk SEC football, his political career, and his time at Tennessee. DISH was there to capture it all, so read on to get a peek behind the scenes of the show and SEC Network studios!

In his interview with Paul, Heath discussed what it was like filming his DISH ads, how his football career compared to his political career (“They’re both contact sports”) and even confessed that he considered attending Alabama before settling on Tennessee!

Heath also sat down with SECSports.com to answer questions submitted by fans via Twitter and Facebook. The Q&A revealed Heath’s favorite game day tradition (“movie night”), his biggest win at UT (“the [1992] Georgia game”) and the grade he would give to current Vols head football coach, Butch Jones (“A+!”).
