Tonight, DishLATINO’s friend and brand ambassador, Eugenio Derbez, hosts the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards. Don’t forget to tune in to Univision, DISH channel 270, at 8 p.m. EST.
Derbez arrived in Las Vegas earlier this week to prep for the event, and he didn’t miss the opportunity to drop by DishLATINO’s “street fiesta” yesterday to spend time with fans. Of course, Derbez was the life of the party, smiling for photos and passing out “paletas” – aka popsicles. But why paletas?
Considering he managed to balance between two paleta carts during his recent move from Mexico to Los Angeles, it seemed fitting.
At the event, Derbez took some time to celebrate his Mexican heritage and let crowds of fans know how DishLATINO has been important to him throughout his family’s move to the U.S. With the most expansive Spanish-language programming lineup in the country, DishLATINO has helped Derbez stayed connected to his culture.
