Can you spot which ridiculous NASCAR race names are fake?

FONTANA, CA - MAR 23: Jimmie Johnson (48) and Matt Kenseth (20) at the Nascar Sprint Cup Auto Club 400 race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA on March 23, 2014

The Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen International is well under way this Sunday. A race named after our favorite cheese cracker product (sorry, Cheese Nips) got us thinking: what product can we name a race after that can pass as an official NASCAR race? Below are the names of seven races. Five of these are real. Two are fake races. Can you find the bogus events?

  • Duck Commander 500
  • La Croix 300
  • Toyota Owners 500
  • Spongebob Squarepants 400
  • Windows 10 400
  • Bojangles’ Southern 500
  • Tinactin 400
  • Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500

Answers: If one of your answers is Spongebob Squarepants 400, you are wrong. Who lives in a pineapple and has a race named after him? Spongebob Squarepants!

The phony races are the Tinactin 400 and the La Croix 300, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be races in the near future. It’s your call, brands!
