The 4K Joey Satellite Receiver

Create a whole home 4K experience with a 4K Joey supported only with a Hopper 3. The 4K Joey works like all of our other Joey Receivers except it supports Ultra HD content for compatible 4K TVs. So when you pair a 4K Joey with the Hopper 3, you can watch live 4K programming, on demand shows, 4K Netflix shows, and more from multiple rooms of the house. The 4K Joey also supports High Definition programming so it can be used with TVs and DISH DVRs that are not 4K compatible.

When it comes to the appearance of your entertainment setup, you shouldn’t have to worry about how your 4K receiver looks. As the thinnest receiver available from DISH, the 4K Joey is easy to mount, easily hidden behind any flat screen TV or comes with an optional stand for upright positioning. If you don’t own a 4K TV, don’t worry. The 4K Joey isn't limited to 4K televisions, so its sleek and simple design should be compatible with your television as well. Although you won’t be able to watch 4K programming, you can still enjoy a clean television setup with the 4K Joey.

The 4K Joey has native Bluetooth support, meaning you can wirelessly connect a 4K Joey to other devices, such as headphones. This makes the 4K Joey a great choice for places where you want to be able to watch TV without the volume blaring for everyone else to hear – such as a bedroom.

The 4K Joey is one of several Joey Receivers available as a part of the DISH Whole Home DVR system. Each Joey in the lineup is packed with features that allow you to enjoy the same TV experience from any room in the house. Our professional technicians have received enhanced training on critical health-safety procedures, including those recommended by the CDC to promote cleanliness and to help prevent the spread of illness.

  • As always, if technicians have a known illness, they will not visit a customer’s home.
  • Work orders will be signed using a unique pin so you won't need to touch the tech’s phone or tablet while on-site.
  • DISH is equipping technicians with personal protective equipment (PPE) – including masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and shoe covers – for use while inside your home.
  • Our technicians will wear face coverings and shoe covers inside your home. 
  • Technicians will take enhanced cleaning measures to sanitize all surfaces they come in contact with and all equipment installed in your home.
  • Technicians will wash their hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content.
  • Technicians will refrain from leaving behind paper manuals or equipment packaging unless desired by customers.
