Donald Trump Inauguration: All the Coverage on DISH

On Monday, Jan. 20, Donald Trump will once again assume the White House, becoming the first President since Grover Cleveland to serve non-consecutive terms. All of the major news outlets will have live coverage of the historic event – which was just moved indoors to the Capitol rotunda due to an arctic blast that will make it the coldest inauguration day in 40 years. FOX News 

Coverage of Trump’s second inauguration begins on Sunday. Per a FOX News press release:

On Sunday, FNC will present live programming originating from Washington, D.C. with weekend editions of FOX & Friends (6-10 AM/ET) featuring co-hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy, Lawrence Jones and Brian Kilmeade followed by America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino from 10 AM-12 PM/ET, Outnumbered  from 12-1 PM/ET, America Reports with John Roberts and Sandra Smith from 1-3 PM/ET, The Story with Martha MacCallum from 3-5 PM/ET and The Five (5 PM/ET). 

On FOX Network, Shannon Bream will helm FOX News Sunday (check your local listings) live from FNC’s special coverage set. Kicking off evening programming at 6 PM/ET, Bret Baier will anchor Special Report followed by The Big Weekend Show (7 PM/ET), Life, Liberty & Levin (8 PM/ET), Hannity at 9 PM/ET and Sunday Night in America at 10 PM/ET. FOX News @ Night will be live at 11 PM/ET from Washington.

On Inauguration Day, (January 20) FNC’s live Washington-based programming will kick off with FOX & Friends, America’s Newsroom and The Faulkner Focus followed by Inauguration of Donald Trump, from 11:30 AM-5 PM/ET. Chief political anchor Special Report’s Bret Baier and anchor and executive editor of The Story Martha MacCallum will helm the special as the 47th president and vice president of the United States are sworn into office. FNC’s Dana Perino, chief political analyst Brit Hume, The Five’s Harold Ford Jr., and anchors Harris Faulkner, Bill Hemmer and Sandra Smith will contribute to the network’s coverage. Additionally, Outnumbered co-host Kayleigh McEnany, The Five’s Jessica Tarlov, Sunday Night in America’s Trey Gowdy and FOX & Friends Weekend co-host Charlie Hurt as well as FNC contributors Karl Rove, Kellyanne Conway, Ben Domenech and Marc Thiessen will break down the developments throughout the day.

Beginning at 7 PM/ET, FNC’s entire primetime lineup will broadcast live from Washington kicking off with The Ingraham Angle (7-8 PM/ET) and Jesse Watters Primetime (8-9 PM/ET) at the Commander in Chief Ball followed by Hannity at 9 PM/ET live from the Liberty Inaugural Ball. At 10 PM/ET, FNC’s late-night show Gutfeld! will broadcast live from Washington’s DAR Constitution Hall in front of a studio audience followed by FOX News @ Night with Trace Gallagher from the network’s Washington bureau at 11 PM/ET.

Sunday, January 19 

  • At 12pm ET, Dana Bash will anchor a live special edition of State of the Union. Alayna Treene will join from Arlington National Cemetery to provide updates on President-elect Donald Trump. 
  • Starting at 1pm ET, Jessica Dean will anchor coverage with her expert panel. 
  • Beginning at 4pm ET, Kaitlan Collins and Pamela Brown will co-anchor a special edition of CNN Newsroom as pre-inauguration events unfold. Collins and Jeff Zeleny will bring the latest from the Trump rally at DC’s Capitol One Arena.

  • At 12aET, Omar Jimenez kicks off special live coverage as inauguration day begins, followed by Erica Hill anchoring at 2aET. 
  • Kasie Hunt leads coverage at 4aET with a panel of experts to preview what’s ahead and at 5aET John Berman and Audie Cornish join coverage from Capitol Hill. CNN’s MJ Lee will report from the White House as President Biden prepares for his departure, with Alayna Treene live from Blair House as President-elect Trump prepares to take the oath of office. 
  • At 7aET, CNN’s The Inauguration of Donald Trump special live coverage begins led by anchors Jake Tapper and Anderson Cooper, along with Dana Bash, Kaitlan Collins, John King, Abby Phillip, Jamie Gangel and Audie Cornish. Anderson Cooper will be joined by a panel of political experts providing top-tier analysis of the day’s events and the incoming Trump Administration. 
  • CNN’s Pamela Brown, Phil Mattingly, Jeff Zeleny, Manu Raju, Lauren Fox and Audie Cornish will be live from various locations around Capitol Hill as the ceremonial proceedings unfold. Jim Sciutto and Donie O’Sullivan will be live on the National Mall as spectators from around the world gather for the event. Alayna Treene will continue to bring the latest updates on President-elect Trump and his transition team. Arlette Saenz will report live from Andrews Airforce Base as outgoing President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden depart Washington, DC. 
  • At 2pm ET, Erin Burnett will lead coverage from the parade route as The Trump Inaugural Parade begins. She will be joined by Kasie Hunt. Anderson Cooper will continue anchoring with his panel of political analysts and commentators including Michael Smerconish and David Chalian. Boris Sanchez will report from a vehicle in the inaugural parade, Jim Sciutto will be on the parade route and John Berman will be live from the parade’s start. Brianna Keilar will bring updates from downtown DC, and Pamela Brown and Jeff Zeleny will be live as the parade finishes. 
  • At 4pm ET, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will anchor coverage from outside the White House, along with Wolf Blitzer and his panel of experts including John King and Jamie Gangel. Kaitlan Collins and Jeff Zeleny will provide the latest from the new Trump Administration. 
  • Starting at 7pm ET, CNN will provide continuing coverage of Inauguration Day and The Trump Inaugural Balls. Erin Burnett will look ahead at the new administration’s priorities with her panel of analysts. Kaitlan Collins and John Berman will be live at one of the inaugural balls bringing audiences inside the ceremonial scenes of the night. At 8pm ET, Anderson Cooper joins coverage with his panel of commentators and political experts.   
  • Starting at 10pm ET, Abby Phillip anchors coverage with her panel of experts and Laura Coates anchors continued coverage from one of the inaugural balls along with Boris Sanchez. 

 

MSNBC

In addition to live coverage on inauguration day, MSNBC is planning, “special programming for the first 100 days of the new Trump administration.” Read more about that on the MSNBC press site, along with inauguration coverage below:

  • On Saturday, Jan. 18, Ali Velshi will host a primetime inauguration preview special at 9pm ET in addition to his regular hours of Velshi at 10am ET on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • The Sunday, Jan. 19 program of Velshi will air a special edition show: Velshi: The Players and The Policies of the Next Four Years, examining those slated to lead the second Trump administration and the policies that will shape the future of America.
  • The hosts of The Weekend Alicia Menendez, Symone Sanders Townsend and Michael Steele –will host a primetime inauguration preview special at 9pm ET on Sunday, Jan. 19, in addition to the regular airing at 8am ET on Saturdays and Sundays. 
  • MSNBC’s Inauguration Day coverage will kick off on Way Too Early with Ali Vitali at 5am ET followed by Morning Joe, co-hosted by Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist, at 6am ET featuring in-depth reporting and analysis from top political reporters.
  • Throughout the day, MSNBC Reports anchors Ana Cabrera, José Díaz-Balart, Andrea Mitchell, Chris Jansing and Katy Tur will report live from the Nation’s Capital.
  • At 10am ET, Rachel Maddow will lead MSNBC’s live coverage of the 60th Presidential Inauguration. Maddow will be joined by Nicolle Wallace, Joy Reid, Ari Melber, Chris Hayes, Alex Wagner, Lawrence O’Donnell, Stephanie Ruhle and Jen Psaki.
  • At 2pm ET, Chris Hayes and Alex Wagner will pick up coverage, featuring the co-hosts of The Weekend – Alicia Menendez, Symone Sanders Townsend and Michael Steele.

BBC News

  • Chief presenters Sumi Somaskanda and Caitríona Perry will anchor from Capitol Hill beginning at 7am They will be joined by BBC correspondents from across the U.S. and around the world, including Sarah Smith and Gary O’Donoghue
  • Chief presenters Clive Myrie and Sophie Raworth will take over anchoring duties at 10:30am, joined by Somaskanda, Katty Kay, and a panel of experts. Anthony Zurcher will be covering events on the digital side. 

Bloomberg

  • Morning coverage will be led by anchors Joe Mathieu and Kailey Leinz from Bloomberg’s studios in Washington, D.C. Mid-afternoon coverage will continue with David Gura, Carol Massar, and Tim Stenovec.
  • Annmarie Hordern will provide live coverage from the inauguration site with Tyler Kendall reporting from the White House.

  • Inauguration coverage will begin at 7am with anchors Mark Lotter, Sharla McBride, and Shaun Kraisman. Newsmax 2 coverage begins at 8am with Ed Henry, Bianca de la Garza, and John Bachman.
  • Greta Van Susteren takes over at 10am alongside Rob Schmitt and contributors Rick Santorum, Mercedes and Matt Schlapp, Tom Basile, and Rob Astorino. At 3pm, Bob Brooks, Katrina Szich, and Carl Higbie will continue anchoring coverage of the inaugural parade and other events.
