The sun may have set on Yellowstone, but the show’s extended universe shows no signs of slowing. A spinoff entitled The Madison, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Patrick J. Adams of Suits, is in pre-production, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, there are rumors that Yellowstone favs Beth and Rip (played by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser) will also get a new series (or possibly continue in a sixth season of the original series).
These new shows are in addition to the Yellowstone spinoffs that have already been released, 1883 and 1923. Although the former ended as a limited series after one season, 1923 – which stars Harrison Ford, Hellen Mirren, and Brandon Sklenar – is scheduled to return for a second season on Feb. 23. The first season of 1923 will air throughout the month of December on Paramount Network. The first two episodes are now available on-demand, with the remaining six episodes premiering back-to-back on Sunday, Dec. 22, Sunday, Dec. 29, and Wednesday, Jan. 1. Paramount Network is available on DISH in the Flex Pack and up.
Who is in the Cast of 1923 Season 1?
The cast is toplined by iconic actors Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren who play Jacob and Cara Dutton, ancestors to the Dutton family at the center of Yellowstone. Although we know that Jacob is the brother to James Dutton (who was played by Tim McGraw in 1883), the direct family lineage has yet to be revealed. 1923 also features Jacob and Cara’s children, Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) and Jack (Darren Mann).
