Season 20 of ABC’s The Bachelorette is about to make a splash this summer as Charity Lawson embarks on her second chance at love.
Who is the new Bachelorette?
We first met Charity on Zach Shallcross’s season of The Bachelor, where she experienced a heartbreaking departure after hometowns. However, audiences had already fallen in love with the compassionate and confident therapist, making the decision to cast her as the next bachelorette a no-brainer.
This time around, Charity is looking for a life partner that “loves dogs, thrifting, and a good tailgate.” More importantly, she wants to find a man that is “honest, empathetic, and values her for who she is.”
Who are the men on Charity’s season of The Bachelorette?
At first glance, it looks like our next bachelorette has a fine group of 25 men, all on their way to meet her at the bachelor mansion. But it remains to be seen if they look as good on the inside as they do on the outside.

In an another Instagram video from @bacheloretteabc, Charity coyly revealed that John from New York, NY is one we “won’t want to miss” on night one. She also was surprised by how much of a “comedian” Kaleb K. turned out to be.
As for Caleb B., she simply said, “I think we know by now … but saddle up, cowboy.”
What happens on Charity’s season of The Bachelorette?
Sparks are flying like the 4th of July for our new bachelorette, especially with data scientist and potential frontrunner John, 6 ‘6 cutie Xavier from Carrboro, NC, and Kauai tennis pro, Joey. All are likely to get a night one rose, along with mama’s boy Josh from Bethlehem, PA.
But what would a season of The Bachelorette be without a little drama? During the initial intros, some men become cocky after sharing intimate moments with Charity, which could make or break them.
Sweet as she is, it is clear that Charity is not going to tolerate “the foolishness.” In a preview clip, she is seen telling someone, “do you not think I deserve better?” and “you don’t even know what you want” to another. Charity even threatens to “clip off” a rose from a man’s chest that was given to him.
Luckily, Charity will kiss (and make up?) A LOT this season. She shares many a makeout with her handsome contestants, so it’s all water under the bridge right?
