Serious question: Is it fair for people to be athletically gifted and strikingly beautiful? How much good fortune can a single human be allotted?
Sigh. Whether it’s fair or not, many athletes are incredibly attractive. Exhibit A: Golf. It’s a fun sport to watch, even for those who don’t like watching sports — the players certainly make it worthwhile. We’ve rounded up several beautiful golfing faces for your enjoyment:
Let’s start with this: He’s from Australia. He also plays on the PGA Tour. For a few months in 2014, he was the No. 1 golfer in the world. He also belongs on the cover of GQ. Sadly, he is married. Double sigh.
This Swedish dude is primarily found on the European tour, though he interestingly attended Oklahoma State University before going pro. Whatever continent he’s on, Noren is worth watching.
Olesen is from Denmark, went pro at age 19 and is a two-time winner of the European Tour. Those darn Europeans and their devilishly good looks.
The youngest person ever to win a modern LPGA tournament, Pressel is an American powerhouse of a golfer. She’s also absolutely stunning, qualified for the tour on her very first attempt and, sadly, is taken.
Blair O’Neal is frequently regarded as one of the most beautiful women in golf (and likely on the planet). She has won Golf Channel’s The Big Break, the TV show where men and women compete for the same prize. She’s just as successful in her modeling career as she is in her golf career.
During her amateur career, Mozo became the first player since 1972 to win both the Women’s British Amateur Championship and the British Girls Amateur Championship in the same year. From Cadiz, Spain, she is on many “most beautiful women in golf” lists. Mozo also claims she is a killer pingpong player. So there’s that.
There are countless other attractive golfers, of course — lucky people — and they’d make one fantastic calendar. Let’s face it, though: As beautiful as they all are, it’s their talent and hard work that truly sets them apart. Maybe we should golf more…
