NCAA hockey tournament bracket 2016: Full list of 16 teams unveiled


Earlier on Sunday, the NCAA revealed their 16 team bracket for the men’s ice hockey tournament that will come to its conclusion in Tampa Bay this year. Before Florida, however, the teams must play through four regional brackets to advance. There were no real surprise teams along the way, especially after Michigan fought off a Minnesota rally to keep the status quo in check.

Even so, there’s no telling what can happen in a one-and-done tournament like this. Favorites can fall even with just one bad period of play, and that’s what makes this tournament so fun to watch.
