Week 2 of the 2022 season delivered one of the most exciting weeks in the 13-year history of NFL RedZone. Both the early 1pm ET slate of games and the late afternoon window featured the type of incredible comebacks that make the NFL must-see TV every year. As The Ringer points out, both the Miami Dolphins and the Arizona Cardinals overcame 20-point deficits to win on Sunday. The number of times a team won after trailing by 20-points all of last year? Zero.

Let’s hope the NFL keeps it up this weekend, because NFL RedZone is in free preview for all DISH subscribers on Sunday, Sept. 25. For seven hours beginning at 1pm ET, you can catch all the eye-popping runs, jaw-dropping catches, and, yes, heart-stopping comebacks that the NFL is known for. Early Game of the Week (1pm ET window)

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins – CBS

Bills and Dolphins fans have had a rough couple of decades as they waited for the Patriots’ AFC East reign to finally come to an end. Now that the moment has finally arrived, this matchup could play out like the NFL version of Game of Thrones. Josh Allen has established himself as one of the best QBs in the NFL, while the Dolphins are looking explosive on offense thanks to the trade for WR Tyreek Hill and the new system under first-year head coach Mike McDaniel. Both teams can hit home-run plays, so this will likely be decided by whichever defense steps up.

Late Game of the Week (4:25pm ET window)

Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – FOX

Unless they meet in the playoffs, this could be the final matchup between two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Rodgers and the Packers struggled against a potent Vikings offense in Week 1, before rebounding against the Bears on Sunday night. Brady, meanwhile, has led the Bucs to yet another 2-0 start, including a road win over the frisky Saints on Sunday. Although it’s only Week 2, this is a big game for both teams that could have playoff implications come January.

NFL RedZone Fantasy Performance of the Week

Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens – 46pts (PPR standard leagues)

Miami-Baltimore produced an absolute geyser of fantasy points on Sunday. If you had any of the receivers on either team, you probably won your fantasy matchup; if you had either of the quarterbacks, you definitely won. Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa had the game of his life, tying a franchise mark with six touchdowns while completing 72 percent of his passes for 469 yards in the ‘Fins thrilling comeback win. But despite taking the “L”, Lamar Jackson is our pick for fantasy performer of the week. Not only did he complete 21 of 29 passes for 318 yards and three TDs, he added 119 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Jackson is one of the most electrifying players the NFL has ever seen and games like the one he had against Miami provide a vivid illustration of his unprecedented talents.
