Drop the beat with DISH Music

Whether you’re hosting a party, doing chores or getting ready for a day of work, it’d be nice if you could walk through your home and listen to your music in every room, right?

Well good news – DISH Music is now available, bringing whole-home audio to you at no extra cost and without the headache that typically comes with setting up complicated sound systems.

Powered by DTS Play-Fi technology, this new mobile app uses your Hopper DVR and connected Joeys to play music from your personal library and popular streaming services, including Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Napster, Pandora, SiriusXM and TIDAL. Open the app on your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and choose to sync the same music across rooms or play different tunes on each TV.

DISH Music can also wirelessly pair with DTS Play-Fi-enabled speakers connected to the same wireless network as your Hopper. You can find a full list of DTS Play-Fi-enabled speakers compatible with DISH Music here.

How to set-up DISH Music:

  1. Download the DISH Music app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon app marketplace.
  2. Select which Hopper or Joey you’d like to use.
  3. Choose your music source preference. (Examples: Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Pandora, your personal library, etc.)
  4. You’re all set! The “Now Playing” screen gives you the album art and complete control of your music.
