Focus on DISH International programming

DISH has made it a priority to provide the most options for international programming for diverse audiences. As many of our customers observe Ramadan this month, we are taking a few minutes to discuss the Arabic and Urdu programming on DISH as it’s traditionally a time for new shows and offers.

DISH is the exclusive provider of some of the most popular channels from the Arab world, including MBC, New TV, MURR TV, MBC Masr, and Al Arabiya. Of note, “Bab al-Hara,” a popular program on MBC, is returning for its much-awaited sixth season after a one year absence. Also slated to debut is “Saheb al-Saada,” a comedy on MBC Masr that stars Egyptian actor Adel Emam.

For Urdu watchers, DISH hosts an exclusive lineup, including debuts on Geo TV like “Malika e Aliya,” and fan favorites “Jeeto Pakistan” and “Good Morning Pakistan” on ARY Digital. Up-to-date news is available via ARY News and Geo News.

DISH truly has the best international channels for our customers — don’t be fooled or misled by any other service claiming they have the rights to broadcast these channels in the U.S.  DISH was the first provider to develop an Arabic programming package in 1996 and DISH remains the only, and exclusive, authorized provider in the U.S. of the top Arabic channels.  DISH is also the exclusive provider in the U.S. of the leading Urdu channels such as ARY Digital, ARY News, Geo TV, Geo News, Dunya and Express News, among others.
