If you were to try to name the Stan Lee of television procedurals, the answer would be Dick Wolf.

Wolf, the longtime writer, producer and creator of Law & Order, has created an interconnected TV universe that spans thousands of episodes and dozens of stars. After building Law & Order into arguably the definitive crime show of the past 30 years, Wolf helped launch another franchise with Chicago Fire in 2012, which was quickly followed by Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med

As the man behind two of NBC’s most popular and enduring TV franchises, Wolf’s impact on TV is every bit as significant as Lee’s was on comic books. So when DISH had the chance to sit down with the casts of Chicago Wednesday – the three-hour block between 8-11 pm ET that includes Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. – we had to ask them about their favorite Dick Wolf characters from the DWEU (the Dick Wolf Extended Universe).

Find out what Marlyne Barrett (Chicago Med), Hanako Greensmith (Chicago Fire), and LaRoyce Hawkins (Chicago P.D.) had to say about their favorite Dick Wolf characters in the video embedded below. All three shows return with new episodes Wednesday, May 1 at 8:00pm ET on NBC (check your DISH guide for the channel).
