Between the multitude of games, fantastic finishes, and single-elimination format, NCAA® March Madness® can get more than a little crazy. Thankfully, DISH Bracket Central is here to make the wild ride a whole lot more comfortable.
All DISH Bracket Central features are now available on internet-connected Hopper Plus, Hopper, Wally and Joey devices on channel 148. DISH Bracket Central combines many of DISH’s industry-best features into one easy-to-use interface. When you launch the app, you’ll see three helpful products near the top: Bracket View, College Sports Multi-View, and Game Finder. Scroll down from those and you will see a list of live, upcoming, and previous games (don’t worry, if you’re recording games to watch later and don’t want to see scores, you can turn scores off with the toggle). Below that, you can find your list of recorded games, followed by a list of games broken out by conference. Select the game to record it, or to see live stats and scores.
Back at the top, here’s what you’ll find with each product:
Bracket View
Once the full list of participants is announced on Selection Sunday (March 17 at 6:00 P.M. ET on CBS), you can view the full bracket by selecting Bracket View. Furthermore, you can scroll along the top to break out each region – West, East, South, and Midwest – as well the Final Four® and Championship. Beyond the bracket, this view will display in-game and final scores, and allows you to switch to or record all games.
College Sports Multi-View
By selecting this feature, you’ll launch a muti-view window that allows you to watch up to eight games live, all on the same screen! During the First Round of the NCAA® Tournaments, when there are often four games happening simultaneously, this feature is more clutch than a buzzer-beater. And if you’d like to watch something else alongside the games, you can customize your channels by accessing multi-view through your DISH remote. Game Finder
The best feature for sports fans, Game Finder is exactly what it sounds like: An easy way to find your favorite teams and sports programming. Beyond DISH Bracket Central, you can access and customize Game Finder by opening the guide and navigating to Channel 152. From there you can pick your favorite teams and leagues, then use Game Finder to access them with the push of a button!
