What do you get when you combine clean-burning propane and recalibrated engines across a fleet of commercial vans? A mouthful. But, more importantly, a Sustainability All Star award.
For the second year in a row, Green Fleet Magazine recognized DISH for working to build a more fuel-efficient fleet. Noted accomplishments include:
- Propane autogas vehicles and onsite fueling stations that significantly lowered fuel costs and improved our environmental footprint
- Propane sourced domestically to help fuel local economies and contribute to America’s workforce
- A fleet-wide engine recalibration that reduced the equivalent of 300 vans worth of emissions from roadways
Our nationwide fleet of nearly 4,700 vans is on the go every day, carrying our crew of installation technicians to customer homes around the U.S. The fleet plays a fundamental role in driving our operational business. By adopting clean technology and smarter systems, we create efficiencies that let us pass savings to customers while simultaneously reducing our carbon footprint.
