Chicago Blackhawks Defeat Anaheim Ducks, Headed to Stanley Cup

(ANAHEIM, Calif.) — The Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Anaheim Ducks Saturday night in Game 7 of the Western Conference Final. The team will soon face the Tampa Bay Lightning for the Stanley Cup Final.

The Blackhawks fought the Ducks at Honda Center in Anaheim, California and won a spot in the finals by beating the team, 5-3. This is the third consecutive year the Ducks have lost a Game 7 at home.

This will also be the third Stanley Cup Final in six years for the Blackhawks.

On Friday night, the New York Rangers lost at home to the Lightning at Madison Square Garden for Game 7 of the eastern conference finals.

The Blackhawks and the Lightning will face each other Wednesday for the first game of the Stanley Cup Final at Amalie Arena, the home of the Lightning.
