No Channel Guide Information

If the guide is not showing information about your channels, follow these steps to fix the issue:

 

1. Restart your receiver

 

VIP/Wally Receivers

 

- Unplug the power cord of your DISH receiver for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. The reset process may take up to 5 minutes to complete.

 

Hopper/Joey Receivers

 

       - Be sure to reset the Hopper before the Joey. 

 

       - Unplug the power cord of your DISH receiver for 10 seconds, then plug it back in. The reset process may take up to 5 minutes to complete.

 

 

2. Refresh your channel guide

 

VIP Receivers

 

- On your DISH remote, press the Guide button.

 

- Using the right arrow button, scroll to the far right and keep pressing the right arrow button until pop-up 318 displays. Once it displays, select “Yes” to begin the download. The download may take several minutes to complete.

 

 

Hopper/Joey Receivers

 

  1. - On your DISH remote, press the red color button or the Options button to view the TV Activity screen. If no tuners show “Available”, you’ll need to make a tuner available.

     

    1. - For a tuner currently “Recording”, select the tuner and choose “Stop Recording”. For a tuner currently “Watching”, power off the receiver in the listed location. 

       

      1. - Once the tuner is available, the guide will download automatically. The download may take several minutes to complete.
