Getting ready for installation

PREPARING IN 4 EASY STEPS.
Here's how to help us make your viewing fantastic. Make sure someone 18 years or older will be on site during the appointment. Check that there's a clear path to the TV and a clear work area for the installer.

Review your email confirmation.

You'll receive an email confirmation of your order. Please double check to make sure all the information is correct.

Check the status of your appointment.

As a courtesy, we will contact you the day before your appointment and the morning of the appointment with a better estimate of your technician's arrival.

Prepare for your installation.

Obtain property manager approval before your technician arrives and be sure that someone with signing authority will be on site for the entire appointment. Check that there's a clear path to the TV for the technician.

Meet and greet.

Our technician will walk you through your order and set-up plan and complete a site survey. DISH now offers additional production and services beyond a basic installation. The technician can install your theater system, set up your wireless network, mount your TV on the wall and more. (Ask for details.)

Can I put DISH in my business?

Yes! DISH offers a wide variety of programming tailored to meet the needs of your business.

How are businesses billed for DISH programming?

DISH will bill customers on a monthly basis according to programming packages you choose. Your monthly billing cycle is based on the date you activate service. If your payment does not reach us by the date printed on your bill, we reserve the right to charge a late fee. If your bill is exceptionally late, we reserve the right to disconnect your service.

Where should I mail my bill?

Which credit cards does DISH accept for payment?

DISH accepts MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover.

Can I receive music through the system?

Yes! DISH offers tons of channels of commercial-free music that can be used for background music, on-hold music or for your personal entertainment.

Can I receive International programming for my business?

DISH offers a variety of International programming packages tailored to meet your needs.

If I move, can I take the equipment with me?

Yes. We distribute programming across the continental United States. Our equipment can be used nationwide; call 800-454-0843 to have your new installation scheduled.

Do I need different equipment for a business than I would need for residential programming?

Although the programming may be different for bars and restaurants, the equipment and equipment cost is the same regardless of the type of business.

My service has been disconnected due to non-payment. What do I do?

If your service has been disconnected, call us at 800-454-0843 and we can take your credit card payment.

How do I disconnect my service?

As soon as you decide to disconnect your service, please call us at 800-454-0843. If you don't call to disconnect your programming, you will continue to be billed. You must call us to terminate the billing.

Can I get my Local Broadcast Networks? (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX)

Yes, local markets are served with DISH Business where available.

We bill for programming services in advance. DISH will bill customers on a monthly basis according to the monthly programming packages you choose. Your monthly billing cycle is based on the date you activate service. This date cannot be changed. If your payment does not reach us by the date printed on your bill, we reserve the right to charge a late fee. If your bill is exceptionally late, we reserve the right to disconnect your service.

Does every room require its own receiver?

We can help design a system that fits your property, needs and budget. There are times when it is more advantageous to have a receiver in every room, but it is not necessary for DISH service.
